Robin is a talented pianist with an endless musical imagination. She is always supportive of my learning. She has allowed me to unlock my inner musical self over the course of simply 2 years. Robin has allowed me to experiment with different genres. This later lead me to my recent audition, where Robin helped me receive a position to play in the Melbourne Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Learning musicianship and composition from Robin has been very enjoyable. I first met her for a violin rehearsal. I was amazed at how she knew I liked composing and improvising just from hearing me play - I did not tell her anything!
I realized that there was a lot to musicianship and composition that I did not know. Initially, I thought that it would be extremely hard to learn and understand them all fully. However, Robin has a skill of making boring things fun, and she taught every single concept in detail, and made sure that I understood it before moving on. She helped me to understand the basics of composing to the standard where I can get ideas out of my head easily - something I struggled to do beforehand.
I would highly recommend Robin to anyone looking for an accompanist and/or wanting to learn composition skills in any genre of music.
